NEW DATA REGULATION

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)which came into force in May this year Keswick Agricultural Society is committed to protecting the privacy of persons visiting our website or interacting with the society. Your details will never be sold to third parties. You have the right to ask what data we have for you or to ask to be removed from our database by writing to:

All Data collected by the Society is for the purpose of running Keswick Show. This Data will be kept on the society computers. No copies of bank account data will be kept other than on a bank statement.

All Exhibitors will have contact information held on our database for the purpose of correspondence. Exhibitors names will be listed in the show catalogue under classes entered. They will also be listed in “Results”, if placed and this information given to the press as well as on our website and social media. Contact details will not be published.

Contact details may be given to the relevant Breed Societies when requested along with results, Government agencies may also request information about Exhibitors e.g. DEFRA

All Traders will have contact information held on our database for the purpose of correspondence. Traders are listed in the show catalogue.

Contact details of suppliers, sponsors and advertisers in the show catalogue will be kept until no longer relevant.

We are also required to ensure that your data is only used in a way that is appropriate and that we keep it protected from unlawful disclosure to others.

This information is kept on computer and will be used to ensure the smooth organisation of the show. It may be used to contact you with news about the show.

PHOTOGRAPHS/VIDEO

Photos/Video may be taken on Show day. By taking part in this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming and any reproductions or adaptions of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the groups aims. This might include (but is not limited to) the right to use them in their printed and on-line publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.

If you do not wish to be photographed please inform the event organisers.
